The Best and the Worst food I tried at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios during the 50th anniversary.
It turns out, if you’re bad at something at home, you’re still bad at it when you travel.
It’s that time of year. The temperature doesn’t fall below the mid 80’s, and the buzz of mosquito trucks echoes throughout the neighborhood. Summer has arrived, and with it America’s favorite holiday: The Fourth of July.
Before this summer, and the three English courses I took during it, I’d never given much thought to walking across the world. Yet, after reading Cheryl Strayed’s award winning book, “Wild,” walking is all I want to do.
Back in March, during Spring Break, a friend and I visited Caprock Canyon, in Briscoe, Texas. The only other canyon I’ve ever visited is Palo Duro Canyon, but that was when I was eight years old, so Caprock is the first canyon I’ve been to that I can actively remember. It’s also the first canyon I’ve hiked in; which was an experience.
